Investors are focused on the look into the future for the economy. They are also people who are very knowledgeable in economics and finances. Essentially they look at the information available and use that combined with their knowledge and experience to get an idea of what to expect in the future.
In other words, they can read between the lines in speeches and figure out what exactly is going to be implemented and what’s going to happen.

First of all, Obama’s speeches are unspectacular. I’ve never been impressed by anything he has said. Secondly, our president holds some economic views which are threatening to greedy people. I’m not against greed and capitalism, and neither is Obama, but Wall-Street simply doesn’t trust him, nor do they want higher taxes and more regulation, both of which they are guaranteed under Obama’s leadership.

I agree with the ‘awe’ part. Every time I hear anything from Osama it inspires me to say, “Awe snit, here we go again.”
