***how Do I Learn About Stock Market?***?
By b2b on February 8th, 2010I want to learn about stock market… But i don even have a basic idea of what a stock means and what is done in a stock market… Can anyone let me know in detail where i can find documents regarding this on internet…
I now trade stocks for a living and here is how I got started.
I first went to MotleyFool.com and read the articles and whatever else I could find there.
I then took a free 2 week trial to Investor’s Business Daily where I was given a free book by William O’Neal that teaches how to read charts patterns (very important for investing in stocks). Also the articles in the paper were good.
Another great resource is ezinearticles.com where you can search for articles from experts on pretty much any topic about the markets that you want.
Plenty of authority sites are also there but these usually discuss advanced theories and concepts about the stock market. its better you take the help of a website which focuses on the basics and nothing else.
Site below has articles and resources are also interesting for people who have no knowledge/layman knowledge of the market.
Oh dear, you have an awful lot of learning to do.
The first book mentioned below is a paper book, but the second one can be obtained on the Internet, so maybe that would suit you.
You should only invest money in the stock market that you can afford to lose. there are two very good books you could read. the first is by peter Lynch and is called ‘One Up On Wall Street’ and the other is a free book available at the site below. it is No. 5 on the list.
The stock market is a dangerous place. It is possible to make money there and it also possible to lose a lot of money. Do be careful. Do lots of reading, ask lots of questions. But remember, rely on your judgement alone. The good tip given to you by a friend, may turn out not to be so good in the end!
